Born in Naples in 1982, Angelo Caliendo studied Architecture at University of Naples Federico II and in Paris at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture La Villette. In 2007 he moved to Rome to study cinematography at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, the National School of Cinema, where he graduated as cinematographer with the direction of Giuseppe Rotunno (AIC, ASC). He lives in Paris working as a cinematographer and camera operator for feature films, short films and commercials. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
